What places in the world using FS blew you away?

Seeing the Eye Of Africa from up high was very much a "wow" moment for me, quite a few others over the years but that one stands out.

Make sure Monument National Park is on your list when you start touring the U.S.

Fly as sun is just rising and you'll get breathtaking views as you watch the sun crawl up the rock formations.

Found it, NZMF

I would have suggested NZMF had you not said "by a lake", since it is a fjord instead, similar to all those in norway.  recommended VFR scenic trip from NZMF to Martins Bay NZMJ

I think it was a mod at flightsim.to....but the latest USA default may just as good now.   Been ages since I've been there.

Why is Chicago called the “Windy City”? (history.com)

I'm confused, did anyone ask why it's called the "Windy City"? Or, was that just some random amendment?

The name stuck after it was applied in a news story in the 19th century - it was referring to the politicians as being "windy" blow-hards.

Though it can get quite windy at times (I lived there for several years), there are other cities that have higher average winds.  Still, not a fun place to be on a Winter day with high winds coming off the Lake...
