May 19, 20233 yr Good question and a tough one to answer but, I'm going for the city of London. Doing one of the activities low and slow blew my mind and performance was incredible too! Chris Howard

May 19, 20233 yr None in particular. Not blown away. Just a big stupid happiness grin almost everyday when MSFS has the good taste to unfold decent sat imagery and mesh below my aircraft 😁. I had a cursory look at some of the almost 600 screenshots that I have kept, couldn't decide for a specific place. There are so many stunning flights I made in MSFS from the Pacific coast of Latin America to Greece, from Italy to the Himalayas, from Pakistan to Indonesia, from Iran to Japan, from the Appalachia to Laos, from ... but you catch my drift. May 19, 20233 yr I was blown away immediately upon seeing what we've become accustomed to seeing after installing MSFS. Right around my home near Denver to go up and recognize everything I'm familiar with and then have these squalls appear was just so new and different from the "paint-by-numbers" scenery I came from in P3D v4.5: We take regular walks around Standley Lake near our home: After the initial reaction to what we have in MSFS I continue to be amazed at the quality and sense of realism heretofore missing in desktop flight sims I've used for decades now. I'm also struck sometimes with just how bad some scenery can look as well, but those scenarios are relatively rare by comparison. Anyone have a recommended image hosting service? I'm using Postimage but it's been soooo slooooow lately. I wonder what it would take for Avsim to do its own hosting. May 19, 20233 yr 1) A night approach to EDDF. Somehow the lighting feel very different to what I was used to in other sims. 2) Cañón del Chicamocha (30-40 NM south of SKBG). In real world, I've crossed it several times, and I always wondered how would be to fly through it. Now I can do so. May 20, 20233 yr Too many to list, though a few that spring to mind that I like with addons where available: Southwest England (home territory) New York London Barcelona and the Spanish coastline Naples and the Italian coastline Snowdonia Scottish Highlands Switzerland & Austria in general I've also enjoyed a fair bit of flying in France (mainly the northwest and south) When asobo produce a world update, I will spend some time rxploring the new areas (until the next one comes along). For my part, I have seen plenty of great looking scenic views in MSFS. But as of late, one that has stood out to me is the view of the terrain while flying from KLAS to KLAX. The desert topography and terrain below looks amazing with all the contours and relief. There are interior Highlands areas that are literally still blank spots on the maps in terms of satellite imagery so those aren't good in the sim, but most of the island looks really great, and the bush flying to those hundreds of sloping strips - by DEFAULT, even without any addon scenery - is like nowhere else on earth! Agree.. try this flight: Bert
