Heathrow Entrance and Jetways

Featured Replies

No tunnel entrance to airport and Jetways do not connect to their aircraft. MSFS 2020 Deluxe version loaded, no additional Heathrow add-ons. Can this be rectified? Additionally little to no air/ground traffic at EGLL even with settings high.

Thought Asobo would have done a better job considering it is a UK main airport.

Purchased inibulds Heathrow Airport for what was advertised at a sale price of £9.99 and then realised I had been charged full price at checkout so ticket in for that.

As I had not seen any other MSFS 3rd party photography of Heathrow entrance, I was a little disappointed by inibulds attempt. Screen shots speak for themselves. Also Jetways were still not connecting to aircraft and in some cases they were higher than the aircraft itself.  So unless I am doing something wrong (which is always a possibility) I am not that impressed.

Did you disable the Asobo original version, as that will cause issues. I have no problem with jetways...

With Asobo Heathrow removed:

Entrance no change from the screen shots - Can this be improved?

Jetways only fix themselves when I "Remove and Regenerated Traffic". Is this the norm?

Is it a common principle that you disable an Asobo product if you are installing a replacement 3rd party product.

Jetways also connect for me so not sure the issue you are experiencing. Seems weird the things you have shown doesn't look like that in my sim.

Yes it is common to uninstall the Asobo hand crafted before you install the the 3rd party one.

Can you apply some screen shots of the entrance area from your sim please so I can see what it should look like.

Here are some from the same sort of angle/distance as yours. All other add-ons disabled (and Asobo EGLL uninstalled). Results pretty much the same as yours, other than tree density.

Thank you for that. Actually good to see your pics are no better than mine. So basically down to poor content creation by inibuilds.

I am surprised. I thought that IniBuilds would have corrected that very poor rendition of the Heathrow entrance (including the very strange raised bridge deck, and that just plain weird bridge in front of the Emirates A380) in one of the updates that they have released.
