June 21, 20232 yr I absolutely loved working on these behemoths. It involved a lot of walking as they're so darned long. Jack Sawyer

June 21, 20232 yr Airframe and powerplant license with avionics as a specialty. Retired now. I was fortunate to work every system as well as engines, flight controls, landing gear, sheet metal, and more. Been on too many to count test flights for various reasons. Some boring some interesting. Writing a book on it now. Jack Sawyer

Reading stuff from people that have actually had (or have) something to do with aviation at some point in their lives. Apart from being a passenger and since discovering flight simulation some 15-20 years ago (and as a consequence over those years a steadily growing interest in aviation) I can't help but feel somewhat jealous of the people involved in the business. Especially those from 'back in the days'. When you publish, do tell me. Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12

It had its downsides, weather, breathing jet fuel and exhaust, breathing all kinds of metals being ground and cut, slipping and falling. It was the best job ever, did it all my life but one must be careful around running jet engines, thrust reversers, flight controls, and it was loud, very loud. The book is a work in progress. It will contain real stories, short humorous fictional stories of characters I’ve created, and the dozens of aviation comics I’ve created over the years. Take care. Jack Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20232 yr Very nice picture, I hope we will get ths plane in MSFS too. Any attempt to stretch fuel is guaranteed to increase headwinds My specs: AMD Radeon RX6700XT, AMD Ryzen 9 5900X, 32GB RAM, 34" monitor, screen resolution: 2560x1080

Good to know...will look for it in the local Book stores...when available... BTW, Jack, I've always admired your modesty while explaining to us, the hands-on (RW) mechanical experience with various types of aircraft and jetliners...and, of course, bearing with the bravado of us wannabe pilots and airplane enthusiasts...yours truly included ...🙂...
