Questions regarding the latest cj4 after aau2

Featured Replies

1) Can someone please point me to a manual which covers the latest implementation.

2) I believe that I do not need to install a mod to get the latest version

3) These seems to be a problem with earlier manuals and the latest version. For example: I am trying to get Navigraph Charts linked. Earlier manuals say this:

MOD SET

This page on the FMS contains a number of user defined settings which will persist after each load (when the SIM is exited correctly through the menus).

The MOD SET can be accessed via IDX>NEXT>MOD SET

When I try this I get: Data base and Defaults as the only options.

Grateful for any answers or suggestions

I think the Navigraph link has been dropped due to licensing issues.

Unfortuntely some great features from the WT mod didn't make it into the AAU version (now default). Chart integration is said to be brought back by Navigraph though, as has been done for the G3000 already. Probably that will include Simbrief FPL import as well. Passenger announcements are gone due to licensing issues, they said.

And you're right, you do not need a mod - although there's a great "CJ4 Wooslemod" which features passengers, window blinds, map display, opening door and more on flightsim.to.

So with Mod Set removed how does one connect to ground power? I tried (initially) at a small municipal airport and again at an international airport (one of those enhanced airports that Asobo included in the Premium Deluxe version of MSFS, complete with fences that don't exist 😵), and at neither airport did I have a ground services option via the radio.

The "Wooslemod" fixes issues and provides features that should have been there from the beginning. I really don't understand why doors opening and closing wasn't part of the default package.
