Patience dear space cadet, patience. Not long now. 😸 3 hours ago, Matthew Kane said: I don’t know, I think it’s gonna need more water It was less than I expected too, Mathew, but of course, we don't know if this was a full test or a lower volume test. There will be Raptor tests of course, to test the system with all the fiery stuff. Edited July 19, 20232 yr by martin-w
July 19, 20232 yr They do have a few changes in the rocket for the next launch. https://arstechnica.com/space/2023/06/spacex-making-more-than-1000-changes-to-next-starship-rocket/
July 19, 20232 yr Administrators Boom! Big bada-boom! 🚀 Charlie AronAVSIM Board of Directors-ADMIN/Moderator-RegistrarJust going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
July 19, 20232 yr The hot staging technique sounds like a good improvement. I never liked the idea of having to do a "flip" to get the second stage engines to ignite. It sounded like a very inelegant solution to me. My comment was tongue and cheek but yea I bet they are just testing with a fraction of the full deluge, the next Launch Test will be the real test Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

July 21, 20232 yr Author Looks like it was indeed tested at half capacity. The full test should be impressive! Have to say, amazing progress from SpaceX in only 3 months.
