Looks like they lost full control of it well before ejecting, it was no longer being maneuvered just wide spiraling

Of course, the less than intelligent contributors on Instagram, have made comments like... "ban all airshows, waste of money, what the point." 🙄

There are almost 100 MIG 23s  still in service with various military groups. Most in 2nd or 3rd world countries, and several in civilian hands in the US. It was by no means the last flyable MIG 23.
