I upgraded my DLSS file and now I have this in the lower left of my screen. Is there a way to get rid of that?

I believe there are two different versions…one with a watermark and one without.  It was described in the big DLAA thread on this forum.  I downloaded the latest version I could find a link for in that thread and I have no watermark.

I think you need to disable it in the registry:

You need the CL version, the top one in this link: https://www.techpowerup.com/download/nvidia-dlss-dll/

Remind me again, what this alternative dll actually does and is it only for 4000 series cards?

As Nvidia refines and updates the DLSS technology, issues are addressed that may or may not be noticible in a given game. This can range from FPS increases to removal of artifacts and anything in between.

Thanks hiflyer.  After posting I went back and re read the link you posted in the previous post.  I will give it a try.

Presumably no risk provided that the original is backed up.

DLSS 3 is for Nvidia 4xxx GPUs, you need DLSS 2 if you have a 3080. Latest version seems to be 2.5.1.
