Asobo ATR - SU13

Featured Replies

Anyone else getting all kinds of odd electrical/hydraulic/Icing faults after SU13?

If I load the ATR and choose "Ready for Taxi" there are a litany of faults that I can't seem to get rid of.  This was never an issue prior to me updating this morning.  It's as if the Generators aren't working...only way to eliminate the errors is to keep the External power on.

This happened to me yesterday if the throttles were at idle on the ground. Move the throttles slightly above idle the the problem went away, idle in air no issue. I'll have to check on the official forums if anyone else encountered this.

I do remember it being noted and discussed. The workaround is as you describe. Not sure if a fix s planned.

Thank you...I'll give this a try.

Seems like a very bad product to be called "Expert Level" if the hydraulics stop working on idle power.

So apparantly this is a bug that was experienced during the SU13 Beta and made its way to the final. Due to the change in prop behavior it seems the aircraft itself had to be updated.

A whole month of Beta reports and upon general release this issue persists? Hans/Asobo, I hope you guys have a fix ready early the coming week.

I wish this aircraft was better or should I say finished. I need a good turboprop regional airliner and this one is so close.

Here's hoping they finish it up soon.

Asobo shouldn't be attempting complex aircraft if this is going to be their approach. There are literally hundreds of posts on the main forum about bugs and issues people are encountering with the ATR. As we have seen with the ini A310, MS/Asobo's current workflow simply cannot cope with the amount of post-release support that complex aircraft need. They either need to dramatically change how they develop these aircraft and support them or stop entirely.

My flight yesterday was stuck in hdg sel the entire, flight. I really think that MS/Asobo are trying to do too much. Too many aircraft, too much going on, too little quality control. My little head can't keep up. Every time there's a new release I go 'oh no, not another one', and it's wasted on me. There's no longer any excitement when a new something comes along when I know I probably won't have time to fly it, and if I do have time undoubtedly it won't work for me, and I no longer have the patience to mess around.

Just spent Sunday afternoon around Lands End and the Scilly Isles in UK flying the A2A Comanche. Bliss.
