Thing is the RT radar screen looks ok.  But PSXT live goes from 200+ down to less than 10 then back up over 200 again.  Traffic literally completely diappears on the ground in front of me.  All of it.  Only static and parked live remain.  But through that nothing seems to change on the RT radar,

I did not noticed that because I tested the last few days with a Beta of RT v10.  In RT v10 everything looks normal. I just tested at KJFK and had over 100 live aircraft within 30 nm.

 

You can test RT v10 too

Do this:

1. exit RT.

2. go to c:\Users\<you>\AppData\Roaming\InsideSystems  and place in that folder an empty file with the name Beta   (no extension)

3. start RT again and you will get a  prompt notice about Beta V10.

In PSXTraffic you will not see Metar info because in RT v10 the altitudes are already corrected for the local QNH (very handy for me).

Curious for your findings. I'll write Balthasar about this.

I tried this created an empty text file named Beta but nothing prompts me about a v10

Ok. I haven't had a chance to try yet...still at work haha but will a bit later tonight. I am in US Central time zone

I work from m home so it will be a quick commute

I'm still stable with the Beta Nico.  Before I would have lost most of the traffic by now. Also lots of ground movement which I did not have before.

Switched over to my home computer and did a quick test and it does appear that live traffic is working with v10. I am even getting a few ac taxiing to and from runways at KSTL which was arguably worse than KDTW on v9
