Sorry for bringing this topic back to life again, but I seem to be lost reinstalling, I d/l V7.2A from my account at Simmarket  and followed the instructions.

Created a folder from the .exe which turned out as a .zip file on my Desktop and then copied the Fall Season and  Model Assets folders into my Community folder.

However no change in Foliage in the north. I contacted Bijan via e-mail and asked if he still supports the s/w, said he does, have not heard from him in over a week.

Maybe someone here had the same problem and needed help to fix the issue.

I am not sure what Bijan replied to you so his answer may contradict me, but I think that Bijan Seasons never were updated since a while ago and have issues working with newer SU's released since then. Usually you the exe can be wherever it is, you specify the msfs community folder and whatever you chose in there is being installed to that location.

Thanks for your reply I informed Bijan of my problem, he said that he answers e-mails and still supports the product, so far no answer. I have the latest SU 13 installed, so that could

be a problem.

I have the latest SU, and Bijan  works fine. 

I have the same problem as the OP -- Bijan Fall colors do not show up since SU13. Before SU13, it worked fine. Update: I removed most add-ons (other than Bijan) and voila -- the fall colors appeared! I will investigate to see which addon is causing the problem, but it is clearly not due to SU13.

Thanks I would appreciate that.

OK -- I found not one but two addons that conflict with Bijan: Forest Enhanced and Shortest Trees. Removed these, and the problem disappeared. Other tree-related addons, e.g. those that change the trees and foliage in specific areas, do not cause problems. Hope this helps.

Hi Cobalt, that was exactly the problem in my case as well, I removed Forest Enhanced and my foliage now has Fall colours, I did not have Shortest Trees installed.

I recall that several years ago Bijan had said that other tree addons could conflict with his, but I had forgotten about that. However, most of them do not appear to cause problems -- only (apparently) the ones that actually replace the tree/foliage files themselves. Addons that simply limit the extent of tree coverage in certain areas seem to be compatible with Bijan's. Anyway I am glad it worked out. I wish all MSFS problems could be resolved this easily.

Anyone know what I need to do please? I have tried posting on the Bijan discord but posting is not allowed. I guess I could email Bijan but someone here may know a quick answer.

I just use the folders that have the season listed Fall-spring etc. I don't use anything else, model assets. terrain masks, etc.. Just copy the season I want into the community folder. Simple, and nothing to go wrong. 

As it should be green in Wellington as its spring.

Have you set the date of your flight in MSFS to southern hemisphere Autumn (March - May)?

I thought of that before my posting here. Yes I know it is spring in New Zealand. I set the date to April 2023 in FS2020, no effect on tree colours whatsoever.

Are you using photogrammetry? If so, turn it off as PG trees are not replaceable tree models.

Otherwise, you may have conflicting add-on(s) that is/are preventing Bijan's trees from displaying (read earlier in this thread).
