November 13, 20232 yr I've had the sim freeze on startup several times lately and I've been able to get the loading process to move on by using ctrl-alt-delete and choosing Task manager. It seems MSFS doesn't like to be out of focus during loading (e.g. if you open a Chrome window).

It took quite a while before I figured out the trick with ctrll+alt+del! Regards.
