Return flight to EGLL (iniBuilds) and no traffic (FSLTL)

Featured Replies

I have mentioned this problem before, but I've been looking into rectifying it, and have failed, so I'm hoping for some advice (and hopefully a solution!). Using Fenix A320, FSLTL and iniBuilds EGLL.

I've just flown EGLL-ESSA-EGLL and on return to EGLL, there was no traffic at all on the ground and all the aircracft that were attempting to land were going around at around 50ft.

Before I left ESSA, I reset FSLTL using the traffic reset in FSLTL's menu.

This is not a sim object issue (I think) as I can see aircracft attempting to land. But there are no aircracft (not even static) on the ground or any taxiing around.

It's such an immersion killer to return to your home airport and it's completely empty.

Any help appreciated, thanks.

I have the same problem.

Does anyone have anything to add to this? I've mentioned it a few times, but I've never been able to find a resolution.

From what I understand, since FSLTL traffic is based on Flightradar24, the traffic will be Real Time. It doesn't matter what sim-time you are flying, FSLTL is based on Real Time. Your Sim Time could be say 1500z and Real Time when you arrive is 0300z. There is not going to be any active traffic at 3 AM at EGLL (don't know for sure whether EGLL have time restrictions for arrivals and departuress).

Restrictions at LHR departures not allowed till 6am till roughly 11PM at present arrivals not allowed after 11PM and flights can't land till after 4:30AM I believe.

In my case it does nothing to do with time restrictions. I have checked different times and same problem.n some way starting from EGLL is everything ok with traffic injected. Retourning to EGLL there are no AI traffic

I have never had traffic work at the final destination of a return flight... Never... Seems like a sim bug.

I did not realize it. I have seen it specially in EGLL. I cannot even reset traffic in EGLL. That is the reason why I start using FS traffic. Less FPS requirement, simple and ok. In FS Traffic you activate traffic in the destination airport. In this way you avoid this kind of surprises and loss of immersion

Yeah, long discussed unfortunately.  Don't know of any way around it but would love for someone to correct me... Really kills the immersion do a full round trip and landing at an empty airport

I can confirm it. In the traject EGLL (Asobo) - LFPG -EGLL (Asobo) with FS Traffic I got the same problem: no traffic in EGLL, immersion killer 😞. That is to say it is not a problem of FSLTL or inibuilds. What I also saw as a kind of go around is that after trying unsucessfully to reset FS Traffic when arriving EGLL, then I started FSLTL and astonishing EGLL was filled with aircrafts 😉That is to say for the one of you that have both FSLTL and FS Traffic use one first and the other for the return to see if it works for you in this way. For me it dit.

It is a known fact and discussed in the AI traffic groups but no one so far found a workaround for this intrinsic MSFS bug. So nothing can be done about except reloading the flight before doing the return leg. Ruins immersion, but thats what it is for now. Only the idea of rylabics might work out, but in my case, sometimes the "second" AI program still fails to load in planes if the "first" one is out of business

Greetings, Chris
