Easy Filter for Payware Airports???

Recommended Posts

Good question... I know Little Nav Map is capable of showing addon airports with a different visual indication, but somehow this also does not really work well, because way too many are shown as "addon" (if I remember correctly, even WU airports are shown as "addon", which is theoritically true but still not what we want).

Many of them is marked with a star on the world map, but not all of them though.

You mean on the world map? Not really, other than the star sometimes showing and sometimes not.

If you use AddonLinker (and you really should 😉 ), it has a very nice map functionality showing all the linked aiports!

At the top toolbar on the right side is a little globe icon. That's the map.

It gets better. You can find out on that map whether you have two add-ons for the same airport installed when you notice conflicts and then it can show you the file structure of where to find the add-on so that you can deactivate or delete it.

When I buy an airport, I drop a pin on Google Maps.

spacer.png

I like using the ruler icon to choose a flight based on distance/time.

I do the same!  I like your layers and I really should do that.  On the cards for each airport, I put who makes it (so when we have a choice of 3 CYUL's I know which one I bought, LOL

Also the date and what shop I bought it at.....very handy when you want to check for updates and don't know if you got it at Contrail, Simmarket. Orbx, Inibuilds...etc Hehe.

I played around with colors...but could never decide how I wanted to use them (tried make a color for each store so I see where I bought all my Contails. Inibuilds, etc...then though of color-coding developers...then said...forget it...to much work 🤣
