Yesterday I forgot to start autoFPS before a flight, and I couldn’t fathom why I suddenly had hard stutters / micro-freezes. TLOD was running at 400 on the ground at Heathrow, lol 😆 

Your app is a game-changer. Yesterday I also did a flight where I benchmarked the last 7-8 minutes doing a final approach into Heathrow in the Fenix A320. I had constant frametimes (99.93% within 2ms) and close to 0% stutters from overflying London CBD in all its photogrammetry “glory” all the way down to touchdown at 27R and vacating the rwy. 

I just downloaded the latest version. The auto-pause feature seems like a great idea. I’ll jump into some test flights and report back!

Yeah, tested the older version and the new version at KLAX, KPDX and EGLC and thought it was amazing. Again. I am using 100% AIG traffic as well with General Aviation traffic mod. KSAN looked amazing even though its typically a stutter-fest for me. I could fly the 27 approach in the comanche and E175 and all its glory. Between this and FG this sim is amazing.

Now I tried KJFK and even on my old hardware its all good. 100% AIG traffic, GA mod, Pilot2ATC and I keep my min TLOD at 70. I know it's lame but it works. I don't see a huge difference between 70 and 100 but the performance hit is huge on my system.

This is what happens when modders (the community) find the solutions instead of larger companies.

Wife will be happy knowing I don't "need" a new PC build at this time.

She already let me buy a PCS SawStop so I am a little spoiled already.

It’s not lame. What’s lame is it took me this long to realize that one does not need TLOD200 sitting in the Fenix cockpit at KLAX packed with AI aircraft.

That and having to turn up the TLOD in a flight so at least the cities don't look like barren wastelands anymore

Exactly. And the introduction of fixed minimum TLOD (got mine set at 100) below 1000 AGL is genius. 

I mean....I am flying in the vision jet over chicago and the mod is saying I have a 200TLOD. Not sure what it's doing but it makes it look amazing and a solid 30 fps. I use rivatuner for FPS lock.

I have it set to 27 FPS in the mod itself.

I could hardly ever fly around Chicago without a stutter fest or CTD. I know DD did optimize some of the LOD for scenery (which I own).

My biggest thing is keeping the clouds Ultra.

How do we donate for this hardwork and almost life changing for some of us?

I use Chrome, and the download doesn't start automatically. I have to click on the top-right download icon and confirm that I want to download the file.

Try Edge or, if you have it Firefox. Edge warns you of potential dangerous file but just push through with the keep options and it will download.

That was it.  Had ID'd it as a suspicious file,

It's because the file is not digitally signed as I am a freelance developer and don't have a digital developer's signature. Run your AV and/or malware detector software over the download and the install before you run the app if you want to be really sure it's OK.

BTW, I am about to drop a new version that fixes a minor app is already running bug if you can wait about 10 minutes.
