What is the sim really doing I wonder? Load a plane with avionics that gives you wind data and have a look.

Good catch. I honestly didn't even catch that there is a graph, but as long as the sim reflects it, it's not a big deal to me. Though to be honest, I only fly with real time weather 99.9% of the time. Sporadically, I use custom weather to test out things. You can report that bug via zendesk, instead of here, for the team to look over:

I think its just a mismatch in the display and the actual wind in the sim is as inputted, I'll take a look next flight.

Yeah the UI has been weird since the early days. I remember the compass having two West points in one of the preview videos.
