Ignore the target FPS as it is what I set to match the FPS cap I use for the cruise phase when back in PC mode, to keep my system running quiet and cool. This works well for the many Concorde flights I do in many locations around the world. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11

The MobiFlight event module is in my Community folder installed. What can I do ? Thx, Stefan Did you once have 2020 installed and have uninstalled it? If so, there are remnants of 2020 still on your system, which is enough to make AutoFPS think 2020 is still installed and try to put mobiflight in there but not enough to locate the community directory, which is found at the bottom of the UserCfg.opt file, to extract the files to. If you are not using MSFS 2020 any more, the simplest solution is to delete the remnant 2020 files which for Steam are located in %appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator and for MS Store in %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe. Only delete these if you do NOT have MSFS 2020 installed any longer, otherwise you will have to reinstall the entire MSFS 2020. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
February 27, 20251 yr Hey, and thanks for your quick response! I previously had a version from another author installed, but I never used Auto FPS in MSFS2020. However, I do have both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 installed. The version I had installed could only be deleted manually, as it was not listed in Windows Programs. Where exactly should I look for leftover files? And what do you mean when you say that if I delete these files, I would have to reinstall MSFS2020? I just want to make sure that the latest version of AutoFPS is correctly installed for MSFS2024.

I'll see if I can find the .exe for that one - hopefully you can use that to uninstall. I think that version is not being developed at the moment. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5

Can you tell me what the last line on your MSFS 2020 UserCfg.opt file is. The file is located in %localappdata%\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache for an MS Store install and %appdata%\Microsoft Flight Simulator for a Steam install. You should be able to run the same installer again and be presented with a Remove option. Regardless, having kayjay's app installed only impacts my version if you try to run them both at the same time, otherwise my app doesn't care, including the installer. 9800X3D | 4090 | 64GB | 2+1TB NVME | 2TB SSD | 2TB HDD | 85/50/43” TVs | Quest 3 | DOF H3 Motion Rig | Buttkicker | T.16000M Flight Kit MSFS @ 4K Ultra DLSS Performance FG 80 FPS | VR VDXR Godlike 80Hz SSW | MSFS VR DLSS Quality, Ultra Preset - Windows 11 Acer Nitro 5 | i5-11400H | RTX 3060 6 GB | 32GB DDR4 | 15.6" FHD IPS 144Hz | 2 x 512 GB SSD | Windows 11
February 27, 20251 yr I seems that kayjay didn't include an uninstall option: Hence, I suppose this issue extends a bit beyond this thread. Or as Gandalf would have said: This foe is beyond any of us. Run! Edited February 27, 20251 yr by Cpt_Piett 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 64GB DDR5
