Also, depends where and who builds the PC. Someone who is experience will know what hardware runs well with AMD. April 22, 20242 yr After 20 years of Intel Systems, i switched to the Ryzen 7800 X3D last december (i kept my 3080Ti) I can tell you, that was a huge improvement. MSFS extremely smooth on 4K with most settings on ultra, LOD=200, DLSS... This AM5 system has exactly the same stability as all my old Intel systems before. April 22, 20242 yr Some time ago, before the 7000 series X3D CPUs were available, I upgraded my rig with a 13600K, primarly because I was able to go with a Z690 mainboard allowing me to reuse my already available DDR4 RAM. Back in those days the pricetag for AM5 boards was massive and I did not want to buy a 7600X as a temporary solution. And now? I am thinking again on switching to a 7800X3D, and again, the moment is not right. I will wait until the release of MSFS2024 and first reviews regarding CPU usage before I finally upgrade. By then, probably the 8000 series already hit the market.
