for the COMMUNITY folder it is sufficient to just rename it and create an empty new one, unless you use ADDONS LINKER or some such (symbolic linking).

Not maybe, it's confirmed.

Keep in mind that the public builds are just one of many builds the team is testing internally, so what exactly they're making us test in this build is unknown.

Pushing out changes without public beta tests has been a disaster in the past so I really hope they aren't returning to that practice.
