May 25, 20242 yr Imho AutoFPS is a musthave app for use with every MSFS 2020 version. Everything that adds fps / smoothness is always very welcome. But if you are using moderate settings you might not have the need for it… 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

May 25, 20242 yr I guess like most MSFS tweaks, if you need it, use it. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
May 25, 20242 yr Performance in SU15 is no better that SU14, though a few bugs resolved, especially the texture bleed through issue and a little smoother due to improved memory management. Thus, if you used AutoFPS before the update, you will still want to be using it after. Of course, whether you use it and what settings you use are a matter of personal preference. May 25, 20242 yr On my system (see sig) running at 4k/DX12/ultra/TLOD=300, the sim is so smooth now with SU15 it's like a completely different sim. I'm "only" getting around 40 fps but that's what I always got anyway. Difference is the smoothness. Not a single stutter or pause (so far!) so no urge to use anything to tweak settings. Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

Thanks mike I'm running an Nvidia 3060 with the Frame Gen app, not sure if it was the latest driver and DLSS file, but my sim now runs smoother without it. DLSS is now 3.7.1.0. May 26, 20242 yr For me at least, SU15 returns some of the FPS I lost in SU 14 (a BIG hit for me). Now, for most destinations, I can do a complete flight on my favored settings and maintain mid to high 30's FPS on TO, final, and landing (the only times I really care about FPS) without using AutoFPS. However, if I'm flying into a large metro or into an add-on airport that I know is heavier on FPS (anything by BMWorld or IniBulds) I keep it on just to make sure I don't run into problems landing, and it's excellent in those scenarios as a "safety net" of sorts. If using a traffic injector, AIFlow with AICullEnable=1 in the .ini really, really helps as well. Overall, AutoFPS with AIFlow are both terrific apps.
