June 1, 20242 yr KSAV is the perfect short hop from my home base at KLAL. I grabbed this one the first hour it was available. As mentioned, no other choices. On the bright side, I have already gotten much enjoyment from it. There is a visual problem (what IS that?) near the threshold of runway 1. It’s been reported. Hopefully, a fix soon. Only a quick visual distraction and not a ‘bump’ or anything that affects rollout. For the most part, It looks great on my system, but more importantly, it’s great on performance. No problem holding high-50s fps with my mediocre system. It did look like maybe a single row of lights (not at my PC right now), similar to the taxi lights we sometime encounter in the middle of Asobo stock taxiways. But, at least for me, I am not experiencing any elevation issues. I can roll out smoothly as expected. Checking my Community folder and reporting this to author as I have more time this evening. Thanks! Update: Author has submitted an elevation patch to Ini. Fix is on the way. Are you referring to the cable going span wise across the end of the runway? I believe he has attempted to replicate the emergency arrester cable for use by the Air Guard fighters when needed. It is not in place all the time though, only when needed, so I wish it was not there. Kerry W.
