PROBLEM IMPORTING SIMBRIEF PLAN INTO NEW A320v2

Featured Replies

Hi!, All flight simmer out there please help me I am unable to bring any SIMBRIEF f/plan into the FMC of the new a320v2. However, I can import plans on the EFB Home page and work on some other pages but the FMC or MCDU whatever you call it. I put my pilot ID correctly in the EFB and in my SIMBRIEF Account USER name is different than the pilot ID although I tried the USR Name as well but did not work the FMC. Please kindly tell me if I have missed anything in setting. Thanks a lot

After you see the flight on your EFB, how are you trying to import it into the MCDU?

You have to press "ATSU", then you'll find Simbrief and the option to put your userid.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

Do make sure you use the Simbrief downloader to bring your f/plan into MSFS in the iniBuilds format before you do anything else.

I don't need to download anything, just using the EFB and the MCDU to import the fplan from Simbrief.

On the MCDU INIT page you'll find the way to import your flightplan via Uplink provided you've an active flightplan in Simbrief. Prior to that, you should have input your Simbrief's Pilot ID into the MCDU.

Don't you have to make sure you do NOT enter a destination ICAO in MSFS before starting the flight for SimBrief to import into CDU? I recall that being a dealbreaker with the FBW at least. Ignore me if I'm off track!
