AutoFPS not connecting

Featured Replies

found today that the Autofps program 0.4.2.16 is connecting to MSFS ( green ) but simconnect and session are not connected ( red). Tried loading a flight several times but it does not work. Anyone has the same problem?

Is the mobi-flight-event-module located in Community?

Have you looked at the AutoFPS log yet?  It always tells me what is wrong.

one strange thins for me about autoFPS is that if I change the resolution on my monitor, then autofps will no longer display on the screen. It opens and runs, but the settings box becomes invisible.

The cure is to stop the msfsautofps process in Task Manager, click on the autofps install executable and check the Remove box and remove autofps. Then click the executable again and install autofps. After clicking it only takes about 5 seconds for it to uninstall or install. After doing this it becomes visible again. Until I change monitor resolution again at it goes invisible (its displaying somewhere off my monitor viewing area).

My version 4.5.1  stopped working since yesterday. Clean reinstall didn´t do the trick this time.

AutoFPS 0.4.2.16 was released more than a year ago. There have been many updates and fixes since then, even if you are only using it for MSFS 2020, so I strongly suggest you update to 0.4.5.1 available here.

Since 0.4.5.1, if ever the AutoFPS window disappears off screen, all you have to do is quit it by right clicking on the icon on the taskbar or system tray, depending on the installation method you chose, or task manager if the quit popup doesn't show either) and restart it within 15 seconds. This resets the window position to the default 100,100 coordinates without any need to reinstall.

Private message me your log, located in %appdata%\MSFS_AutoFPS\log, of when the app starts and does not work and I will take a look.
