Is WU17 definately Scotland?

Awesome, Scotland was my favorite spot to fly for long. I am really looking forward how detailed all the iconic castles and rugged beaches will look like after that update.

Use the Map Enhancement Tool that has an option for Latest Bing Maps

It only covers colour - grass and trees etc - does NOT enhance or change buildings etc

EG - the Hospital demolished 8 years ago - is still there in Map enhancement

The 'latest' Bing maps in the Enhancement tool are more up to date than the Bing maps in the sim - it doesn't just alter colours!  The buildings are not put there by the map enhancement tool either, it is purely satellite imagery.

When 2024 releases they're going to enable the latest bing imagery for everyone.

I must say I'm a bit confused why they don't do that constantly.

It was my understanding that the image cleanup for clouds is done by AI anyway, so they just have to run it through blackshark before uploading it to the server.

Why it takes forever for new bing data to get ported over to the sim is outside the scope of my understanding.

Then I must be doing something wrong! - I have the enhancement and the Bing map is still the old one on my PC -

at least 11 years old

London looks fantastic on my PC in full autogen mode with the ORBx London Landmarks package installed.

Yes I have that too. No melted buildings. No city has so many landmarks.

That what I have it set at - what's with the "PRO "setup - do I need that?
