July 13, 20241 yr I have my aircraft set to hot start from the Departure Runway that I choose in MSFS Scenario set Up. However, lately, without exception, the aircraft are spawning at the opposite end of the chosen runway. I just set up a flight from Alicante (LEAL), to depart from Rwy 28, but it has spawned at Rwy 10. This is occurring across different aircraft & airports. Is there a setting somewhere I have reversed? July 13, 20241 yr Only thing I've noticed is, if I pick the parking spot / runway to take off from and then change airplane, livery or anything, it doesn't remember the spot I clicked. Then it just seems to put me on a random runway, no matter what. So gotta make sure the plane, livery and all settings are correct and then I click the starting position as the very last thing. July 13, 20241 yr If you get FStarter24 from simmarket.com you can change the starting position + a lot of other settings.
July 13, 20241 yr One method that ensures you start at a runway of your choosing is to also use a SID in World Map Planner dropdown and associate it with the runway you wish to depart from. Avsim user tip: Make sure you have the setting ATC ENFORCE FLIGHTPLAN set to ON under Assistance Options > User Experience. If that setting is off, the sim picks the runway for takeoff. What happened is that I had a small update come through & I added a new aircraft, & somewhere in all of that all my "Assistance" settings were turned "On". & I had to go through them & take them back to "Hard" or "Off", which turned off the ATC Enforce you referred to.
