No ERJ145?

Featured Replies

Hello, on a recent vacation I had the chance to fly on a Loganair E145.

I always like to recreate my vacation flights  when I get home but of course there is no ERJ145 available and really the only one previously was the Feelthere one for FSX/P3D (which was generally quite good for its time, likely Feelthere’s best work).

It does seem a bit odd that this pretty common plane doesn’t seem to be in the sights of any developer…is there anyone out there working on this that I’ve missed?

Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

I haven't seen one in the works anywhere, which is disappointing to me. I've got many hours in both versions of the Feelthere, and used to RW fly on the things all the time. It's a neat little airplane.

Oh…I’d love to see this and a 135 too!

Jetline Systems, Windows 10 Professional, Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Pro Ax LG 1200, Intel Core i9 10900K Ten Core, Corsair H100 240mm Liquid Cooler, 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR SDRAM 3200MHz, 10GB Nvidea GeForce RTX 3080 GDDR6X, 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD, 1000 watt Gold Power Supply.

I actually flew on a United 145XR last week and thought the same thing. I got home and almost fired up FSX just to fly it again. I ended up flying the CRJ7 in MSFS instead, but it is not the same.

Well, my guess anyway is that one of the big impediments is a lack of a Primus 1000 in the sim. It'd be nice to see more developers acting cooperatively like WT in open-sourcing their frameworks or maybe licensing to other devs, if we got a good Primus 1000 it would open up the LJ45, numerous Citations, etc. Already WT's work for FS24 makes an EJet E2 from someone much more likely since they're developing the Primus Epic.

I'd also like to see a CRJ2 for the sim, but only 25% of the enthusiasm I have for the E145. One of my all-time faves.

Edit: Never mind, there is a Primus in the works, although a 2000 series. They look very similar, FlightFX could be the ones to bring us an ERJ or a Legacy if they're so inclined. The Citation X also has the AE3007 engines of the ERJ - so close!

I'd love to see an ERJ145 from anyone besides FeelThere, SimFederation or Cockspur.

You know one of those is out in EA and two more are under active development, right? The ERJ is the only of those list that isn’t in the works.
