August 21, 20241 yr Commercial Member Hello all! For some reason lately, I am getting a lot of CPU spikes which is causing my CPU fan to go up and down. Has anyone ever experienced this? The example below is with the Fenix A319 in CRZ. August 21, 20241 yr Could be so many things, but I would look first at whether there is anything running in the background and that your msfs folder is excluded from your virus checker. According to Task Manager, the CPU spikes are coming from MSFS. August 21, 20241 yr Might be due to a recent Windows 11 update, apparently causing some CPU spikes. It was also listed as a note in the latest Nvidia drivers; Quote Windows 11 KB5041585 update may result in abnormal CPU use on some systems, this isn't a Nvidia driver issue Edited August 21, 20241 yr by Sethos [MSI MPG X870E Carbon | 9800X3D (PBO +200Mhz / -20 Offset) | Corsair 64GB DDR5 (Custom Timings) | RTX 4090 Founders Edition (Undervolted) | WD SNX 850X 4TB + 4TB | Antec Flux Pro]

I was getting them over central and western Europe awhile back but thankfully not for many months now. And... dialing back TLOD at altitude helped the most.
