August 28, 20241 yr Author Thanks everybody! As my goal is to add this element for light use compared to my main gig (APl + SLC) I think I will look first at FSEconomy and if that doesn't pan out will try Neofly next. I was a super avid fan of FSCaptain and lost touch with their development for MSFS so pretty much gave up on that. When I look at their website now they don't seem to mention MSFS 2020. Thanks! And their discord channel(s) offers excellent support, hints, etc. If you're interested: https://discord.gg/bgzrRhFx -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

I learned to check first before committing to a flight, and you would notice it during the flight planning stage at the latest. Even if you happen to make a flight to a non-existing airport, you can still land nearby and afterwards fly to a nearby airport. You can get used to it quickly. That gets a little tough when you're forced to do a bush landing in a private jet. 😉 Edited August 28, 20241 yr by eslader Ryzen 7 7800X3D/B650 X AX | 5090 | 32gig | Win10 | Pimax Crystal Light

August 29, 20241 yr Author I see there is also The Skypark on Orbx by TFDI but it's $51 and on Orbx it says it's considered 'early access' and yet it's been out for four years. I guess it was big flop... In its current (still //42) state, it is a pretty flight generator, nothing more. It doesn't even assign payload weight. Functionally, it is comparable to the free random flight generator that A Pilot's life published on Simmarket. TFDI has probably some good plans for this, I am looking forward to what they will make out of it. Until then, I would not recommend buying it. Peter
September 6, 20241 yr I've tried most, and I really like onaire. I know many don't like the subscription model, but I disagree. It produces constant upgrades and keeps the developer sharp and receptive to community feedback. All this shows in onaire, and I've been with it almost since the beginning. Great for GA.

I DL'd Neofly and wanted to avoid 'working my way up' as a bush pilot etc as I don't want to do that, I don't think. Is there some way to get to flying for example the TBM fairly quickly? I never tried that, but I do remember that some people wrote that you could edit config files in Neofly 3 to obtain type certificates and cash. I haven't read anything like that about NF 4.
