Looking for payware Airports

Hi, I am wanting to add some decent airports to my sim.  Up until now, I've always spent my money on other types of scenery but now that I have a tons of scenery of all other kinds, I am finally looking for nice airports to add because the default airports are getting quite boring and since no one ever made nice quality airport building textures for P3Dv5, I'm looking into payware airports as well as decent quality freeware airports as well.  Really, anything is better than the poorly designed default airport building textures that P3Dv5 has.  I did try Zinertek's HD Airports add-on and while the buildings all look a little better than default, they all have the exact same design.

So I was looking at airports on sites like Simmarket and I found a few websites like Flightbeam, Blueprint and FSDreamTeam and Orbx of course, I'm wondering if there's any other websites by airport designers out there that I don't know about that I should be looking at.  I am specifically looking for U.S. and Canadian airports of any size, from small airstrips to international airports and anything in between.  I also want airports that have night lighting.  I figured I would start with North America first since I fly there most.

I would greatly appreciate any suggestions,

Thanks

Thank you Ray, I'll check those out.  I have seen FlyTampa on SImmarket but they are pretty pricey airports imo.  I'm sure they are very high quality but $35 USD for per airport seems a little much.

I just want to mention I did find an airport designer that has lots and lots of U.S. airports, FSXCENERY.  Their airports may not be as high quality as some others but they still look 1000 times better than default.  There airports are also not officially P3Dv5 compatible either but I did buy a couple and try them and they work fine.  I think I will be buying a lot of their airports.

I do get annoyed when developers gave abandoned P3D but still charge full price. There is an option on SimMarket for Sales which are pretty regular.

FT do make excellent quality airports though. Montreal for 26USD is reasonable.

Ahh I see, cheaper on their website.  I was looking at them on Simmarket.  Most of their airports there are listed at 31 Euros which is about $35 USD

Edit: I do check out Simmarket sales pretty regularly, I just never paid attention to airports until now.  I got some awesome deals on aircraft and other types of scenery over the years.

Oooh, FlyTampa has KaiTak, I always wanted to try the crazy approaches I've heard about at that airport, back when it existed.

Don’t forget Aerosoft. It’s a shop rather than a developer but that have lots available many of high quality.

You can find a lot of freeware gems if you are willing to do some editing yourself (and even wayback machine in some times to find links through dead websites). I have mainly found a lot of good stuff for Europe and the Middle East this way (some even on par with payware). This website is a good start https://www.freewarescenery.com/fsx.html but you can also find amazing things by just googling. Another example that came to mind is NL2000 (https://www.nl-2000.com/). They have some really good stuff for the Netherlands.

Thank you, I forgot Aerosoft has airports as well, and some nice looking ones too.  I really want that Aspen Extended scenery.  It looks like they not only made the airport, but the town of Aspen itself too, I always consider it a plus when an airport developer also recreates the surrounding areas.

Thank you, that is very helpful.  I don't recall ever seeing this site before.  I do already have NL2000 installed, it is awesome for freeware scenery.  I've never seen a scenery that comes with so many custom airports and so many helipads too.

Edit: I also have OZx Complete Australian airports collection and Ant's Aussie Airports package for Australia too.  Between those two packages, I have a custom version of nearly every airport and airstrip that exists in Australia.  Works perfectly with Orbx Australia V2 scenery.

ORBX has an installer for dozens of free airports and many are quite nice. One installer for all of them. Download ORBX Central from their web site and you’ll be in shoppers paradise for some cool airports.

Yes thank you, I already have all the free Orbx airports and seaports and with all of the Orbs (Orbx rewards currency) I've earned for buying all there other scenery, I was able to get four payware airports for free 😀

With patience you will find sales from everyone. Especially US Thanksgiving for companies like FT, FB, islandsim. And please stay away from that fsxscenery. Their stuff is overpriced word not allowed unless you are desperate to fill a need where no other option exists. FSDT has permanently reduced their prices on a lot of stuff as well. For Canada I highly recommend FSimStudios.
