Approaching Rotanda West (and Ft Myers)

 

Sanibel Island - which took a large hit from Hurricane Ian in Sept of 2022

The island isn't the same but it's on the mend slowly

Doing about 230 ktas at 15,000 ft - routing today is KSRQ CYY 07FA

Passing Marco Island (the last of civilization on the Gulf side)

Time for a quick late morning snack

Solid Everglades country here

 

Back to civilization as we pass X51, Homestead GA airport, and approach the Atlantic Ocean as well as our destination

Rest and Relaxation await!

Superb ensemble of pictures, Ryan.

All so nice, and the slanted (close-up) Flightdeck shot I really liked...The (very real-looking) fence around the airport cottage (eh...I mean the "terminal"...🙂...) resembles a bit to my own but in better shape...I need to replace my soon... Oh well...
