January 3, 200818 yr FSNav was such a huge success because it was simple and easy to use. Any replacement that isn't just as easy to use is not going to enjoy anywhere near the popularity of FSNav. The tendency these days is to make things "realistic" and "feature-rich". That's not what made FSNav what it is. Helge was smart enough to know that what 95% of all of us wanted was just a simple and easy-to-use planner/moving map that would get us from A to B. Make that a complex and/or hard-to-use operation and any replacement for FSNav will fall flat on it's face.Doug Intel 10700K @ 5.1Ghz, Asus Hero Maximus motherboard, Noctua NH-U12A cooler, Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB 3200 MHz RAM, RTX 2060 Super GPU, Cooler Master HAF 932 Tower, Thermaltake 1000W Toughpower PSU, Windows 10 Professional 64-Bit, 100TB of disk storage. I just think the flight planning should be done outside of FS.From what I've seen of HiFi's products, I wouldn't be surprised if we get the best of both worlds - and no I have NO inside info!!BTW, Jim Skorna - if you're looking for another beta tester......:)VicQ6600 G0 CPU 2.4 o/c 3.65Evga 680i A1 with P31 BIOS 2G XP2-8500 DDR2 1066FSB Mushkin 996535 RAM 5-5-4-12-2T320G 7200 HD partitioned for XP/Vista/Programs 2 - 74G Raptors in RAID0 500G 7200 HD for backup SATA DVD burner Evga 8800GTS 640 PCIx 169.13 betaKandalf LCS case w/ built in liquid cooling 850W Thermaltake power supplyVisit the Virtual Pilot's Centerwww.flightadventures.comhttp://www.hifisim.com/banners/hifi-supporter-sigbanner.jpgRadar Contact Supporter: http://www.jdtllc.com/ RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

January 4, 200818 yr Commercial Member Bill -We are integrating our flight planner into REX to work along with the weather and texture engine. It will be one product, so that should help with your system specs and cost.I hope that helps. Reed StoughManaging PartnerREX SIMULATIONS website: www.rexsimulations.comsupport: www.rexaxis.com
