For FS9 there were terrific logbook programs I like to use to record my flights such as FS Flighttracker and FSACARS, is there anything similar to that for FSxX yet?

Usually programs that work with FSUIPC in FS9 should work in FSX. I stopped FSAcars development, however passed a lot of code to another person so I hope that there will be a rebirth.Jos

You don't need to use one that's tied to FSX or FS9.You could use real logbook software, like this one:http://www.logbookpro.com/Cheers,Bryan

Yeah, but will that generate a flight plan which can be read by The PMDG FMC's or will have to manually enter all the waypoints?

This planner is really excellent and being Freeware is even more admirable.
