Fenix GSX loading issues

Ok so done testing, Fenix and GSX removed and clean installed.

Scenario: YBCG with custom YBCG profile installed. RAMP 2. Simbrief set and all ok. Fenix A321 VH-VWU, I get the fuel, catering and then cargo starts… passengers start walking to the stairs front and back only after cargo has loaded. Doors on the right open during the catering process and the cargo process. However during passenger boarding the left PAX doors do not automatically open.

So there definitely is a bug there. No plane profiles whatsoever.

Same happens to me all the time i start from the Gate.

Normaly when i start from the Gate the engines are running and GSX tells you to shut down the engines to start the Boarding so i have to do and than this issue happens..

So i know now what happens if i do so and i that for leave the engines running at the beginning and open all the doors and than i shut down the engines and so it works..

I hope Fenix can look into this because thats not the way it should work..

cheers 😉

Same here. Since about 3 days ago automatic passenger boarding don't start. Fuel catering and the rest work as it should but you have to click passenger boarding manually. I've had no problem with doors. The only thing I have under virtuali/airplanes is a json-file called paxairplanes. When I open it Fenix A320 says true.

As I've said, when the airplane uses a custom XML expression in the GSX profile (and the Fenix surely does), GSX will never automate doors, because it relies on a custom integration.

The only exception is the PMDG 737/777, where the integration is done by GSX  itself (so door automation works on these and it is controlled by GSX), but it's normally done by the airplane own code.

The only time where GSX can automate doors by itself, is when the doors IDs are specified as normal numeric codes in the airplane profile, but if they use a custom XML expression, GSX will won't try to automate those.

I've also had my last couple of flights with "timing" issues with Fenix/GSX.  PAX did not board until luggage was started to load and maybe on the second cart.  Not sure if this began right after last Fenix update or not.

I haven't made any config changes and my Fenix GSX config file is dated 8/21/23.

Any suggestions ?

Ok so let me make this very very clear. The passenger doors to the right open automatically during catering. However when the stairs connect the left side doors do not open…. Previously the passenger doors DID open when the stairs arrived. Not sure what’s not very clear about this?

The doors on the left open during jetway operations it’s the stairs where they don’t. There’s a bug there.

As others have mentioned there’s also timing issues. The Pax sometimes doesn’t board until 5 minutes after the cargo is loaded.

so in summary: PAX doors to the left used to open automatically now they don’t

pax used to board during cargo loading flawlessly and now they don’t. Timing issues
