I never found the time to try it, but I'm just wondering: most of the "special" objects in these sceneries are made into separate scenery files, sometimes even with understandable names. Maybe it could be possible to move these files along, either in a separate scenery folder to declare, or directly in the TrueEarth folder, to get these objects to appear on top ?

If someone had already done it and instructions were available I might be tempted. But it sounds like I should just stick to what I have.

There are certainly some airports I’ll look at though.

The problem with TrueEarth is that it is Summer season only, and the FTX scenery is just too expensive IMO.

If ORBX would offer a bundle at a discount like they used to do then I would likely buy the Great Britain FTX series.

Lastly, a 40% discount is weak.  Why not 50 or 60%?  If P3D is a "dead" sim, then wouldn't it make more sense to heavily discount P3D stuff so more people would buy it?

BTW, I'll be interested to see how MSFS 2024 handles seasons with the satellite imagery.

Before I bought TE GB I queried why Netherlands was included in the bundle. Nick Cooper replied saying he didn’t know but he’d investigate. A couple of days later I was able to buy the three GB packages excluding Netherlands.

Ask them. They might do you a deal.

Hadnt used v6 in some time but I beleive it does have accumulation if memory serves right.

AFAIK EU England is pre-TrueEarth. Won't look as good or be as detailed.

Only "advantage" of the EU series is they tend to take up much less disk space than the TE series (natch, since TE is much higher resoluion, etc.)

You’re confirming what @Daubesaid earlier. The two are mutually incompatible.

Well, yes...but mainly because they cover similar areas of the sim.

But the actual borders are almost completely different. E.g., TE includes Wales & Scotland, whereas they're separate purchases in EU.

And, ironically, only EU covers the Ireland's. There is no TE coverage, IIRC.

Airports are more lifelike.
