Installed mine on Friday and used native 2024 and set up the config and it works great!

Wait...no one has answered the earlier question: I have it set up using the in-sim settings for the hardware and have configured the reset view and toggle head tracking on/off. The issue I have is that when I turn the tracking off to freeze the view, it freezes but then immediately resets to center, so I can't view the instruments or switches I want to.

This is default behaviour and can't be prevented unless you use OpenTrack.

I've just used open track in 2024. Works great with no issues.

Okay I’ll set that up. But doesn’t open track mean you can’t have eye tracking and is head track only? It’s okay I guess if it is but I quite like having the slider for a little bit of eye tracking along with head tracking. If that’s not available in open track does TOBII have any plans to make this work better in MSFS 2024? Or is it an adobo thing?

Open track doesn't have eye tracking. I've never used it anyway. Asobo has to fix the tobii configuration in 2024. Hopefully with the next update.

It seems the tobii will be fully integrated in the next sim update.

I'm using open track with the Tobii. Works great. In fact, better than the in game UI.

Even when the fix comes out, I'll be sticking with open track.

It's infinitely more adjustable.

There's a very good YouTube video on how to set it up.

Yeah, I fly MS2024, DCS, IL-2 and X-Plane and after fiddling with the Tobii driver, I found it to be inferior to just using opentrack (older version) with track noir in combination with opentrack.  Once I roll to Win11, I'll see if just the newest version of Opentrack does the trick.  Anyway, regardless of the sim, I can adjust the profiles for each plane independently with whatever curves are needed and set limits on physical movements possible to match the plane interior constraints, etc...  Love it!
