December 2, 20241 yr I wrote this Christmas poem this morning: Over the fireplace, hung with care, Were stockings with gifts for all who were there. For Grandpa a pint of his favorite rum. For Grandma a new song for her to hum. For Papa a pack of his favorite cigars For Mama a bag of her favorite fig bars. For Johnny a pistol and a roll of caps. For little Suzie a dolly that takes naps. But for baby ******* his stocking hung bare. Though we searched and we searched almost everywhere. The gift he wanted even Santa couldn't find. Peace on Earth and Goodwill to Mankind. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.
