Check the AIG forum for instruction how to create one out of MSFS 2020. The AITech-Manager for AIG has two different MSFS modes. For other aircrfat packages I don't know, although I believe for FSLTL you also need a separate folder. (because AI aircraft are different). @3 Only once, see my previous post. Please post further questions in my Forum at AVSIM. thanks for the reply couple of follow on questions: 1)Can you provide a link to the best place to post these additional questions to on your avsim area? 2)Still not entirely clear what I need to do to get my MSFS 2020 version of PSXT working with MSFS 2024 - is there any kind of written guide? 3)In terms of the models is there a way to check which set PSXT is using in ym 2020 (I have a few different model sets on my PC) - I think for my MSFS2020 FSLTL are being used but want to confirm in the install? (also if FSLTL is being used how do you install these models onto MSFS 2024 - my app seems just seems to install everything to 2020 or have I missed something).

You must open the file with a normal text editor such as Notepad or Notepad++, not with a .xml viewer...
February 7, 20251 yr Great to see it works with FS2024, just tried it and works perfect with AIG models Regards Claus System : Varjo Aero, Intel i9 14900K 5,1 Ghz OC, RTX4090 24 GB, 64 GB RAM, 2 X M2 1TB, FS2020 https://claus34.wixsite.com/737sim https://flightsim.to/profile/chansen

(any help appreciated)

In the PSXT_MSFS2024_QuickStartGuide, page 2 last sentence: "By default PSXT and PSXTraffic for MSFS are in MSFS 2020 mode indicated by a ticked checkbox in front of the Install path line. Uncheck this box to let PSXT restart in MSFS 2024 mode." and in the Manual, section 3.2 Start PSXT: "By default PSXT and PSXTraffic for MSFS are in MSFS 2020 mode indicated by a ticked checkbox in front of the Install path line. Uncheck this box to let PSXT/PSXTraffic restart in MSFS 2024 mode"

(and if you have the right traffic settings in game and the FSLTL files are installed into the 2024 community the traffic should inject - guessing the FSLTL injector does not need to be running?)

Yes it will, if you have MSFS 2024 installed with the default settings, if not you have give the path yourself. 11 minutes ago, mac44 said: and if you have the right traffic settings in game and the FSLTL files are installed into the 2024 community the traffic should inject Yes. 11 minutes ago, mac44 said: guessing the FSLTL injector does not need to be running? No of course not. PSXT is injecting the traffic, you are only using the FSLTL models and liveries. BTW: I strongly recommend you install the AIG models/liveries too, that packages has much more models /liveries then FSLTL (you can use both packages, no problem). Edited February 8, 20251 yr by kiek

February 9, 20251 yr Author That's because you have moved the community folder from the default place to somewhere else. Now you have to type in the new path in the UI, or in parameters.xml (once). Edited February 9, 20251 yr by kiek
March 27, 20251 yr Hey @ Kiek, have you had any early reports of PSXT crashing MSFS24 SU2 beta? Ive had a couple crashes now and it seems both PSXT and FSLTL cause CTD Version 10.8.0 Love your addon by the way, so great Edited March 27, 20251 yr by qman8166

March 27, 20251 yr Author I read somewhere that MSFS2024 SU2 beta changed the content of the UserCfg.opt sim file. PSXT sometimes uses this when trying to find your Community folder. If this is the cause, you can always type the full path to your Community folder in parameters.xml. Edited March 27, 20251 yr by kiek
