Laminar have never really seriously looked at ATC, It was never really core part of the SIM, why so many never used it. I rarely did. But now that I guess they have a decent Engine, computers are far better and they have the capacity, they have, Imagine that, they hired one person whose sole job is to fix ATC and he has in a short space of time achieved a remarkable outcome. Something about patients is a virtue, so little of it around everyone is angry, everyone is demanding more. We have so many experts out there, I wonder why they all havnt got together and developed there perfect flight sim. Its because there isnt one. I digress im tired of all the whining.

ATC has consistently been a weak point in every sim I’ve tried (including MFS 2024), and my concern is that it risks becoming one of those features accepted as is despite ongoing issues. While nobody expects a perfect sim, I personally would appreciate reassurance that known issues are actively being addressed rather than brushed aside (which sadly happens a lot in both sims) I’ve completed numerous flights with the new ATC, and it frequently makes glaring errors. It’s clear it still needs improvement and I would not call this a "remarkable outcome" and further improvements are clearly needed. This is not to belittle the work that has already been done, but there is still much more to do. I can’t help but wish my customers were as tolerant of bugs and missing features in my work as you seem to be, despite the respect and admiration I have for both companies (LR and Asobo), this is not how the real world works and without this criticism and pressure to fix, nothing will ever improve.
December 8, 20241 yr My life must be so good, that I really cant complain. Im just glad we have people smarter than me that can do this stuff. I must have come from a different generation.. Of course I submit my bug reports mainly on behaviour of AI on taxiways and runways, with screen shots etc Edited December 8, 20241 yr by mjrhealth

If the item gets enough community votes, it will 100% be addressed publicly with a status (planned, in progress, being investigated, etc.) on the feedback snapshots. December 8, 20241 yr Well in the end of it this current bets release, has being one of the most accepted one of the lot, Not that many issues, Though I suspect ATC will be worked on for some time to come.

Well, to Caesar what is Caesar's... Yesterday night gave a try to the default ATC in this latest beta on a flight from Basel to Lisbon and liked it overall. OFC, no AI traffic being controlled but still pretty believable. Didn't manage to go past TOC because I had to leave my sim session due to RL tasks, but will try again the full flight.
