Worst performing airport addon

Featured Replies

What is your worst performing airport addon in MSFS 2020? I have only recently started taxiing to parking spots in MSFS 2020 (I was just enjoying runway to runway flights prior to this), so I am experiencing the full hit on my PC for the first time at each airport. I have around a hundred airport addons (mostly payware), but to date the RD Presets LOWS Salzburg airport scenery is easily the one that struggles the most. I had previously seen evidence of this from the runway, but I thought that it was the fancy Hangar 7 detail that was the cause. However, after landing on runway 15 this afternoon, I discovered that it is actually the main terminal side of the airport that is hitting performance hard. Very hard. Even worse, there were hardly any AI planes in at the time. In comparison, IniBuilds EGLL London Heathrow with something like 140 AI planes on site has far better performance than Salzburg.

This is my only RD Presets scenery, so is this something that affects all of their airports, or is it just Salzburg?

In MSFS, among those that I tried, LFPG: 20-25 fps with the system in signature.

EDIT: I mean Asobo Premium Deluxe's LFPG, not a 3rd party addon.

Can't exactly tell you which one is worst, but KEWR and KJFK (both payware) must be at the top.

I have alot of addon airports. And by far the worst of them is BMW KPHX. It looks great, but the fps are dog word not allowed.
