how to turn off default things: standard Traffic and Tower?

Featured Replies

Sorry if these questions have been asked before, I haven't found anything.

i want to fly in free-Mode only.
1st question: can you turn off the “default” traffic?
I have deactivated multiplayer and disabled all traffic in the settings. MSFS2024 still sends me airplanes to the airport.
2nd question: how to turn off the default voices?
I have deactivated the radio, also under sounds turned off the communication, but the standard tower is still interfering with the radio (especially ATIS).

Sorry for possible bad English. I use a translator.

That's not a complete answer. Because it doesn't solve the 2nd Question.

I also turn 'character voices' to off. I am not on my SIM computer now. I hope I have given the correct name. The setting is the sound menu of MSFS 2024

Note that turning this setting off also kills voices in career mode.

Thank you all for your help.

I will try to find this options in the settings.

the 3rd Great Problem ist the uggly translation from Asobo in the german Version . So some settings did not really Name the Funktion that it should in German speak.

so i am positive, when SIM 2028 are released, we will have understand how 2024 works 🙂

Can't you just turn off the com radios? Or at least tune to a non existent frequency? If you're not using atc you don't need them anyway?

the crazy MSATC always talks into my ATIS when I use BATC. There is probably no solution at the moment to stop this. I have nothing found.

Ahhh. Interesting. I use fshud now and then and that is not a problem at all. Wonder why? The manual does walk you through disabling default rather thoroughly.

try it, it seems that you can not deactivate MSSpeach for ATIS-Frequency. The other ATC are gone, thats not the problem. its only ATIS.
And the ATIS is really uggly. its a mix in german and english. Pure MSAZURE QUALITY 🙂

Yes you can. Follow the instructions from BATC. You have to mute a voice ( Character Voice?).

i don’t hear anything from MSFS while using BATC. Atis or anything else
