December 16, 20241 yr The last few times I’ve updated my nVidia drivers, my graphic settings were automatically reset to low end. So unless it’s a critical update, I just don’t anymore. Thankfully, I’ve never lost a binding or had my pilot log reset. Edited December 16, 20241 yr by Danno

December 20, 20241 yr I haven't checked this personally, but I have read that if you have installed the NVidia app, it will automatically reset your settings whenever you update your drivers. Without the app, this won't happen, or so it is claimed.

Without the app, this won't happen, or so it is claimed. Do NOT install the Nvidia app unless you really need it. It will reset both FS2020 and FS2024 settings. It is installed by default when you update recent NVidia drivers unless you uncheck in in the driver installation menu.
