Just taken the RR variant from EGNT to LEPA. No crashes. I tuned my TCA yoke to -45 pitch and -40 roll based on a discord thread and it didn’t feel too bad at all. I pulled on stand with the exact fuel figure that the Simbrief profile from BB said I would which is also impressive (PMDG 738 I had to do a lot of trial and error with a fuel factor to get it close). Many of the 757 quirks I’d forgotten about since the Level D 767 days were there. Textures really up close aren’t amazing but at normal zoom it’s good. I bought via Justflight last night but due to night shift only installed today. No dramas there as long as you set the Nest app with the community folders. I’m looking forward to them perfecting this, and some painters making higher quality liveries. I got a refund when Fenix first released due to performance issues - and now I think Fenix is the peak of MSFS addons. I won’t be asking for a refund for this, and I’m excited to be here to watch it mature. Will fly it again tomorrow I think!!

I agree! But it’s difficult not to use such features when they’re available, especially for a 2hr video. Hence I said I’d not checked the details (as I can’t without watching it all).

I mean I’m buying it anyway but I agree. I spend zero time there. I have some wingctrl hardware already and was considering a PFP4 for this however I’m going to hold off for more details on the Wingflex kit too. If this jet is as good as I hope it is, I will likely fly nothing else.

Very interesting indeed! how does it handle callsigns for ATC units? For example the last time I tried BATC it referred to my base EGNT as “contact Newcastle approach departure” rather than “Newcastle radar” etc. little things really but jarring nonetheless

What’s the radar vectoring to the ILS like? And does it take you off the long (think Germany etc) published transitions onto vectors? Last time I tried BATC it wasn’t great at that….and I see a lot of hype about SI.

Same. PPL but feel I can get a big chunk of the experience for far less cost (and risk!). Mostly fly airliners in MSFS mind you, and suffer the same thoughts re the atmosphere. Have been tempted many times by ActiveSky for the passive extras but always end up putting myself off. Quietly hoping one day we get a better atmosphere overall. I too have spent time in X Plane. Did some serious hours in X11 previous to MSFS launching. Shame we can’t have a hybrid of both!!

A good 737-300/400/500 would be amazing to have. But perhaps wishful thinking. Hopefully we’re about to have a very good 757. I agree a 747 doesn’t seem to make sense. 787 is a risk for them. Perhaps a 767 or 737CL? I’d like both!!

I think I did that but it then put a random much higher number against the current waypoint, removed the T/D marker and placed a T/C one that I was never going to reach!! Will try again next flight.

So I’m having some Issues with this aircraft. The holds as already mentioned here or at the official forum don’t work properly, I also can’t seem to get the FMC to work if I change cruise level in flight, it messes various things up in the profile. I also can’t find a way to change the arrival/STAR/runway which is, alongside the above, something that must be possible for online flying. I could be doing something wrong though!

I’m an airline flyer. Does ActIve Sky have convective clouds? And will the wx radar on my 737 and Airbus display correctly? Something I’m increasingly frustrated with is the lack of proper convective clouds and weather especially in Europe in the summer!

Steering works fine for me with my rudder pedals, although feels over sensitive compared to PMDG and Fenix but that could be just something I have to get used to
