  1. Yes it’s only on takeoff and landing however I’m not close to stalling. Flying at calculated speeds on final approach etc. and actually, IRL the opposite would be the case near the stall (aircraft will become less sensitive!). Ian
  2. Will download this at the weekend. Does anyone (or is it just me) find handling gets extra sensitive when close to the ground only (particularly in roll axis). I’ve tried various settings incl the SDS and it’s always the same.
  3. These just highlight to me (very well) what the potential is for live weather. It’s such a shame we can’t have this art with live conditions….out to the horizon with fronts etc being visible, which is what we were promised when MSFS launched!
  4. I think there was an issue reported with navigraph if you use that, maybe try another update?
  5. Hi, is anyone else having issues logging in to MSFS this morning? I can't even log into the MSFS forum, without an error 500, and my sim won't connect to the cloud (and the xbox app in Windows just gives a blank screen when trying to log that back in). I've changed my password just in case that was the issue but to no avail. Ian.
  6. It’s really hard to find them in real life too. As said above, lights don’t do much during the day (other than PAPI etc when on final). I find MSFS (and to some extent XP with ortho) very similar to real life in that respect.
  7. It’s not starting a climb at idle power though, it’s carrying energy from the descent isn’t it? It wouldn’t be a sustained climb mind you.
  8. Although I’m a huge fan of PMDG products, I’m a bigger fan of the 737 family! (And would love even more a 737-300!). It’ll be great to see another developers spin on things and u see good things about ifly in P3D forums that I still read sometimes. exciting times!
  9. I’ve been simming for nearly 30yrs. I have XP12 installed and an old copy of P3D 5.4. MSFS is the most stable, best looking and despite many comments about flight models being better elsewhere, the higher fidelity aircraft (PMDG 73, FENIX etc) seem pretty good to me (not a RW airline pilot and surely only those can compare). I do have a PPL but don’t fly GA in sims…maybe I should!
  10. I love nothing more than the mix of old and new (737-300 with efis, RJ, F100 etc.) so in the absence of any rumours of the 737 I’ll be all in on an RJ or F100/70 the second they arrive! It’s somewhat challenging to operate something like the F28 (I don’t own it for this reason) in the modern ‘R’ Nav environment.
  11. On a similar note, I’ve got XP12 running reasonably well (and considering buying ASXP as I thought I’d upgraded free but haven’t…) so that I can run the IXEG 737-300 (I know, more 737s!). And the FM does feel better, although MSFS is still my favourite!
  12. Im desperate for a proper 757 but the bluebird one seems to be promising a lot already. Seems likely that one would arrive before a PMDG one, especially if were to expect the 777 line, with the Max and then 747 line. I would equally welcome a 737CL (-300 or -400) but think it’s unlikely, sadly. I’ll day one buy the PMDG Max when it arrives, and the 777.
  13. I was in the last alpha/beta and I’m a pilot. Not sure that’s relevant though, as has been pointed out here already…
