The scenery that is "on top" will be displayed. 1) if the scenery comes with custom photoreal just find the photoreal in the addons scenery folder and rename it to whatever it is + .off <-- no need to remove it. That way it won't conflict. 🙂 2) If a scenery contains custom autogen, that will be displayed as long as it is on top of the photoreal scenery in the P3D scenery library. The best free tool to organize your scenery is free and called Lorby Prepar3D Addon Organizer. Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but from what I understand, airports that do not come with their own photoscenery areas should work out of the box just fine. Airports that do come installed with their own photoscenery areas, you would have to just find, then delete or remove the custom photoscenery files that come installed with the airport for it to work right with this type of scenery. The only think I'm not clear on is airport packages that come with their own custom autogen for the surrounding areas like RealWorldScenery's Alaska airports or some of Aerosoft's airports for example. I am not sure if these types of airports would work ok or not. Edit: One cool thing I like is all cityscape scenery packages from Drzewiecki Design work just fine and are fully compatible. Thanks guys I’m asking since back when I had ORBX Florida TE it messed up all my 3rd party airports and eventually I’ve uninstalled it Shom MSFS2024 running on Win 11, 4K screen, Z790 AORUS ELITE AX-W, i9-14900K, MSI 3080Ti, Corsair 2x32GB 6000 MHz, 1+2TB M.2 NVMEs
December 24, 20241 yr I have all my photoreal scenery installed on an external SSD plugged into a port on my PC and it runs fine in P3DV5. Cheap extra storage space and you don't have to break your computer open to install it. I have two externals in fact, one to keep my installers and other files stored on and the other for scenery.
