Jeez...it's been a while... Since this Everest beauty came out !!! I don't want to just use the forum space by saying (once again) thank you Frank for the Everest, so.... I will take my chance now and say :Thank you Frank, thank you for the great Makalu, my favorite mountain. When I ask you, here, on the page 3 :

....How big area will your scenery will cover, Frank ? Will it include Makalu, also ?? Please...???

and you say "no" I just thought.... oh, what a shame, but that was one close shave ! And I never saw a chance to thank you when you,all of the sudden, publish your Makalu scenery, so don't be mad mods for these couple words. :(

This is what I got. And I thought that I had it all.... :( If you wish I could upload you the file "mesh_Himalayas_MtEverest_LOD10.bgl" somewhere, rapidshare or something.... (LOD10 is sure better then LOD,right?) :(

Shnala, thanks for the offer.In Holgers fs_him_0n.zip files are all the LOD-10 meshes.In Holgers fs_him_bn.zip files are all the LOD-7, LOD-8 and LOD-9 meshes.The LOD-10 files are not better but different and I need all of them. The LOD-10 are those with the higher resolution, but these files are only the peaks.For the base of the mountains, where they are not so steep, I guess LOD 7 to 9 is enough. These files have a lower resolution, but have a bigger area.Of course the whole area in LOD-10 would be cool, but the files would be much bigger. With Simvitations 30kbps it takes hours until the download is complete. The whole area in LOD-10 would probably take days.But nevertheless, I prefer the original zip files and the download manger will pick all I need. So, Shnala, no need for uploding the .bgl files.Holger, thanks for mentioning the Simvitation site.Could you upload the missing files to the Avsim library as well? Maybe next time the Simvitation server crashes?Do you know the LOD of FS Global 2010 in this area?Thanks for the files and all the work in them,Armin
