After wandering around China, it then made a stopover in Turkey and is currently in France... It is expected in 8 days at my place. I suppose it will make a little trip to Bolivia then to Senegal between now and then. FedEx apparently has big problems with the cost index of its aircraft!!! I’m jealous of all the places it got to visit! 😀 If my shipping log is to be believed (I have to wonder if something is not reporting in the right order) mine went Shanghai - Oakland - Sennan-Shi (?) in Japan - Oakland - Memphis - Montreal - Halifax and now out for delivery. All makes sense except the Oakland - Japan Oakland part, I’m assuming that’s a tracking issue. I remember buying a Fanatec wheel and it went Los Angeles - Heathrow - Toronto - Halifax…literally flew over my house twice 😂 Edited February 3, 20251 yr by regis9 Dave Current System (Running at 4k): ASUS ROG STRIX X670E-F, Ryzen 7800X3D, RTX 5090, 55" Samsung Q80T, 64GB DDR5 6000 RAM, EVGA CLC 280mm AIO Cooler, Brunner CLS-E NG Yoke, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS & Stick, Thrustmaster TCA Quadrant & Add-on, VirtualFly Ruddo+, TQ6+ and Yoko+, GoFlight MCP-PRO and EFIS, Skalarki FCU and MCDU

I believe ours was making its way to the UK together as I too have an ETA of Feb 10. So far, it has visited New Delhi, Dubai, France but as of 9:30 this morning: International shipment release DARTFORD GB 03/02/2025 09:34 Mine has just arrived.
February 4, 20251 yr I don't quite understand this FedEx thing, because it looks like it's going to go from Paris by land, and they didn't send it by plane. In any case, it's definitely closer than further AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, MSI RTX 5090, 64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5, Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU English is not my first language.
February 4, 20251 yr Author Mine is stuck in Paris for two days already, coming from Ankara. The reason why did FedEx decided to send it via Paris remains a mystery to me. AFAIK, there are 6 FedEx flights weekly between Ankara and Tel Aviv and the distance between Ankara (Ankara Esenboğa Airport) and Tel Aviv (Ben Gurion Airport) is 570 miles. In another hand, Ankara is 1614 miles from Paris Orly Airport + Paris Orly Airport to Ben Gurion Airport is another 2044 miles >> 3658 miles instead of 570. Go figure... 🙃 - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

February 4, 20251 yr I received mine last night, my initial thoughts after setting it up and doing one flight: - Set up was real relatively straightforward although the instructions perhaps could’ve been better. There are two clips that appeared to be for cable management that I couldn’t really figure out what the instructions were trying to tell me, but they don’t seem to be crucial to the operation so right now I didn’t bother doing anything with them. - I bought the table clamp as well and once I got it all assembled, I was able to attach it to the edge of my desk on a very angle so it wasn’t taking up desk space and also more closely mimicked the alignments that this would be in on a real aircraft. - the quality seems quite good, especially at this price point. Long-term durability, of course is a bit of an unknown, but as of now it has a good tactile fuel on all the buttons, and the build quality appears to be quite good. - the setup of the supporting software is a bit of a pain as it didn’t find all the Microsoft flight simulator folders it needs (actually it didn’t find any of them) and while some were obvious like the community folder, some were a bit more challenging to figure out what they were asking for. The instructions for the software aren’t as clear as they could be either, there’s a whole section where it appears that you should be able to load a set up for key presses, but it doesn’t work that I could figure out. However, in the end, it doesn’t seem like it actually matters. I couldn’t find useful information on this anywhere in the instructions. - in the sim I was very impressed. The screen is quite clear and bright and once you get the Sim running it all just works well for the most part. I did run into a few things where the screen stopped showing what was on the in SIM screen, however usually pressing a button on the in SIM unit would have the hardware catch up. It is interesting as clearly the display is not just passing through what is on the screen in the Sim, which I guess makes sense given that you’re not having to undock a window and drag it over. - I also have a Skalarki MCDU which provides an interesting opportunity to compare this one given that it’s much much cheaper than the Skalarki unit was. In short, if the Airbus version of this existed when I was in the market for an MCDU, I would never have bothered looking at the much more expensive Skalarki MCDU. It’s also nice that it doesn’t require a connection beyond a usb. My Skalarki unit used a VGA (which I had to convert to DVI), power and USB connection- lots more cables on my desk. Unless the winwing one ends up not being durable long-term, or something like that, I honestly don’t know why anybody would spend money on a Skalarki one unless they are building a full cockpit or something like that. All of this assumes that they will sort out the issues around broad aircraft support, etc. In summary, I’m super impressed. There’s a few little niggles to work out for sure but this is a great piece of equipment, especially at the price point. I had only planned on buying the 737 version but I may end up splurging on the 777 and 747 versions once they come out, it’s that good.
