What FPS should I expect?

Hi

Ah because you wrote all sliders are at max except shadows…and I know that MSFS is better optimized but can you really run it smoothly with max LOD and what was the other slider with a number (terrain or detail?)? And it is smooth over 30 fps even at heavy sceneries? That would surprise me a bit tbh even if it may be better optimized.

Hi,

Not sure where I wrote that I have all sliders maxed except shadows in either XP12 or MS2020, I don't see it in this topic. In MS2020 I can run ultra settings without having to turn down any graphics and that's running seven screens on one computer. When I tried to run seven monitors (just for my own curiosity) with XP12 my frames dropped to single digits, making the sim completely unflyable. Only time I notice any stutters/flickers in MS2020 is when my frames drop below 30, maps on/photogrammetry is off... In XP12 I can maintain 30 and still get flickers/stutters and I'm not pulling data from the online server in XP12 like I'm doing with MS2020 other than weather.

Sorry you are right. It was another user who wrote that thing with all sliders to the right. I need some holidays 😅

It‘s amazing to hear about the thing with the…7 screens? How does that even work? 7 screens would be like a resolution of at least 12000x10000 pixels? How can a single PC manage to run that? And then even at ultra settings? With one single screen my GPU is filled with 10-12 GB VRAM. That would mean I could run 2 or max 3. But how does that work?

Trying XP12 after a while, and know that lots has changed. I'd like to get an idea of what FPS I can expect with the following system:

5800X3d
64GB Ram
4090
all NVME storage

I have a 4K screen and would like to run XP at the highest possible settings while still getting decent (35+) fps. I've played around with the settings, but either I go too low with great fps but poor visuals, or the other way around.

I'd appreciate someone with a similar system telling me what's a good setup to get the best combination of FPS and visuals.

Other notes: I will fly either the Zibo, Toliss 320, or Diamond DA 62. I don't have any third-party scenery yet. I have Traffic Global running but that's the only plugin I have.

Thanks all.

are you planning to fly at night in any payware airliners ?

Maybe? I havent' really ruled that out or thought about it much. Why do you ask?

because if you try and use older type xp11 scenery at night the frames drop.  Its a long standing issue.

Hi,

I run the three exterior views from my Asus 4090 @ 4K, I have the Capt. PFD and NAV on the 4090 as well @ 1366x768. I have the upper MFD (1366x768) plugged into the mother board HDMI connector, I have the F/O PFD and NAV display (1366x768) plugged into the mother board display port connector and I have the last monitor (800x600) plugged into the USB-c to vga connector.

This is the end result, the only items on a second computer are both CDUs.
