On Sunday night I attempted KLAS to EGLL in the PMDG 777W in 2020. About six hours into the flight, a total crash to desktop with no warning messages.
Tried the same flight last night and again about five to six hours into the flight a CTD.
I've done hundreds of flights across the atlantic in the PMDG 777 without problems and haven't changed any settings or add ons.

Any way I can stop this happening? Is it likely to be a problem my end or at Microsoft / Asobos?

Thanks

are you having TPM activated at your PC? MSFS advices TPM off in your BIOS. Because games are often problematic with TPM activated

Source for this? Do you have a link to where MSFS says this

TPM is necessary for Windows 11 (yes I am aware there are workarounds, but that’s not usual practice) so this is baffling advice if it’s true. Are you certain?

If I recall correctly there is a line in the online help for MSFS, and stating that in case of CtD TPM should tried to turn off. But maybe you are right, it could be that this was a tip from some MSFS private people's website who stated this. After I turned tpm off, my CtD issues after hours of flight are gone.

I just re-flew the same flight (EGLL-CYYZ), albeit at 8x speed for most of the way, and all fine. No CTD or anything.

This is the problem, absolutely nothing. Same route, same aircraft, same scenery.

The only difference was that I flew most of it (from 10,000ft to 40 mins out) at 8 x speed
