You can type your answer in the SI window or let the copilot handle the comms. It’s 19,95$/month if you pay monthly or 195$/year (=16,25$/month) if you pay annually. There s also a free version (basic voices, IFR only, ...) as sep23 said : https://www.sayintentions.ai/opensky

Does it use its own injector like BATC does? My chief complaint with BATC is AI traffic is stuttery and using their premium voices for me would cost more than SI's pricing as you indicate, at least annually. February 2, 20251 yr Before going any further, because I know the police is everywhere ;-), let me say I m now part of the "help team" on their discord server. To answer your questions : there is no injected traffic with SI (yet), there might be some things cooking but I dont really know more than that you can use FSLTL alongside SI, you'll see aircrafts moving around as usual with FSLTL. SI doesnt control this traffic. You might get a traffic alert though cause it s aware of injected traffic. To compensate for the lack of ATC control over the injected traffic, you can enable live and pre-recorded proximity chatter. That is the combo I was using when I started using SI and the illusion was ok ;-) Also, as I dont want to mislead you with my previous answer, be aware that SI shines when you are using your voice to interact with it. Aside the ATC which you can delegate to your copilot via a button or typing your ATC messages in the input box, there are other features that would require your voice (ground ops, cabin crew/mentor <- my favourite/tour guide/skyops dispatch and crew, ...) There is also a 24hr free trial of the premium version if you want to try by yourself. Happy to help !
February 2, 20251 yr Get Beyond ATC, you pay once around $40 and you are done . Paying $200 a year for ATC is ridiculous. Edited February 2, 20251 yr by Bobsk8

February 2, 20251 yr I tried SayIntentions and I must say it was disappointing. The interface is clunky, it takes way too long to respond after you say someting, there's no traffic, and overall it just feels rushed and not a quality product, especially at the price they are charging for it. Yes, you can talk to ATC, but the super long pause before you get a response kills immersion. And since there's no traffic in the sim that SI is talking to, the sim world feels dead. Considering that you can buy BATC for ~2 months of the SI subscription, I would recommend you try that first (or just get a month of SI). Maybe in 6-12 months SI will be worth it, but as it stands, it's just too expensive and not worth the cost vs BATC. I haven't tried FSHud so can't comment. Also SI has been caught doing all sorts of shady marketing stuff like astroturfing and pretending to be real users when they are just paid employees puffing up the company. When that happens, you get the distinct feeling that they cannot compete on the quality of the product they make. Of course this is my opinion, and I could be wrong.. but I wouldn't give them a year's sub before you really KNOW you will want it. They may not be around a year from now. 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
February 3, 20251 yr To get an idea of the response time, you can : - listen to the live tracker https://tracker.sayintentions.ai/ although after thinking about it there might be a playback of the conversations so maybe the response time are edited and shortened - try the free 24hr demo Since I started using SI in october 24 : 1) I was blown away by the natural way of talking to the AI, its answers and the overall flexibility. It helped me getting at ease to use my voice to talk to the ATC and ask it anything. I think my first question was asking tower the elevation of the airfield, simple thing yet awesome to get an answer 2) I never experienced immersion breaking response time, maybe once in a while there is one that takes longer than usual not even sure if it s a thing, anyhow you could put it on the controller workload. It feels to me the delay is a few seconds. 3) As I said, to fill the empty sky, SI includes chatters and combined with FSLTL, you dont feel alone. Injected Traffic is being actively working on (partners already have traffic en route, still in alpha, dont take partners just to get traffic, not worth it, partners is to support financially SI development effort) Now everyone is free to try and use its preferred ATC solution. The price is a personal thing and I m more than happy to be paying an annual sub to SI. Apart from aircraft addons, it s the best addon for my sim experience. February 3, 20251 yr Use a bespoke AI software, you won't regret it. I personally use BATC and am very happy with it. FSHud also looks really good from what I've read and seen in videos. I don't like SI mostly due to their marketing techniques and other behaviours displayed by their developers. An interesting read that has some additional views:
February 3, 20251 yr I just cant :-) Have fun with the competitors if that is what has your preference, all I said was true to my heart about what this app brings to your flight sim experience. People are grown up enough to try and experiment by themselves.

What I'm saying is that I can't trust a developer who incentivises positive reviews through "post proof of your review/video/comment and win" competitions on Discord (called out last year), uses Bots to spam the internet with fake reviews (see reddit link), has developers post on here about the product without identifying themselves as developers and then get all childish and defensive when called out about it (happened last year) or posts videos on their official channels claiming that a competitor sent them a cake when the competitor clearly didn't and openly disputes this (see reddit). All of this is totally unnecessary and leads me to question anything to do with that product. It also makes it very hard for me to distinguish your (probably genuine) review vs all the bot ones, developer ones or "bought" ones where people just post because they can win something.

Hey there Speedbird, We totally understand your concerns, and there’s no doubt that some of the issues you’ve raised are troubling. Brian has already openly admitted to posting under an alt account and has apologized for it. We’ve spoken directly, and he agrees that it wasn’t the best or most ethical approach, and that it doesn’t reflect well on the company or the product. That said, I do feel that some of these issues have been exaggerated, or even fabricated, and turned into the kind of dramatic spectacle that Reddit is known for—kind of like a 1980s soap opera my mom used to watch! I personally spoke with the OP of that post today to assure him that, other than Brian’s posts, none of the other alt accounts were associated with our Admin team. I also made it clear that we do not use bot automation for our responses on Reddit. The only automation in use right now is on YouTube for our own streams under the name SayIntentions.AI. He has agreed to remove the post, though we all know the damage is already done. We do believe a lot of this could have been avoided had we not used the alt account, as it has unfortunately cast doubt on everything else. I also want to make it clear that our admin team has now made it a policy that alt accounts will not be used for marketing purposes, and we are committed to maintaining transparency and trust with the community moving forward. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and we hope this clears up some of the confusion.
