February 2, 20251 yr I haven't seen or found a way to locate the MSFS 2024 folder where you want it. I don't want to locate folders in obscure locations that are difficult to find like MS favors. Something like D:\Flight Simulation\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 like I currently use Any help would be greatly appreciated, Darryl

Start Xbox app. Click your username at the top left of the window then click "settings". In the new window that appears, select 'Install Options'. Use "Change Folder" where it says "Change where this app installs games by default. Set it to "D:\Flight Simulation\". MSFS2020 will install in "D:\Flight Simulation\Microsoft Flight Simulator" (by default) and MSFS2024 will install in "D:\Flight Simulation\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024". February 3, 20251 yr I have a problem of multiple installation locations, same folders and files across three different folders and I can start MSFS2024 from any of them, why do I have three locations? D:\MSFS 2024\Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 (folder of my choice) D:\WindowsApps\Microsoft.Limitless_1.3.10.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe (folder created by ..... ) C:\Users\Ali\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe (folder created by ...... ) the starting files including DLSS are available in all of them (same copy), and they all get updated at the same time, go figure?
