Thanks Hi Noel. Just don't activate the 'boarding passengers' option from the GSX menu. You don't have to board them if you don't want to. Before I used GSX, I have a recording I made of passengers boarding and activated it via Stream Deck. It works great too. So if I want to hear passengers boarding without seeing them, I have that option! I think perhaps I will go suggest that option at FSDT as yes indeed I do enjoy that element! February 3, 20251 yr I have the pax turned off but I still atleast get some immersion as I can hear them boarding and the flight attendant saying hello. I like to be able to pan during preflight and as well using the drone cam to head up and 'pre-load' scenery when in big terminals. The 20% drop in frame rate really makes this choppy. 2. I NEVER look at these zombie-like animations anyway. February 3, 20251 yr May I suggest you first try and check your PC performance without using GSX boarding as Howard suggested, pan as much as you want, and see if it makes so much difference, you may be over estimating the performance impact. As long as you don't see those "passengers" your PC should not be affected by a drop in FPS. As long as you don't see those "passengers" your PC should not be affected by a drop in FPS. Thanks Bernard. I'm afraid it's not true that FPS is not affected when you don't see those PAX. What's happening Bernard is that I have been very recently put to the edge of being maxed out while still retaining the IQ and frame rate preferred. This happened when I added BATC w/ FSLTL models. I'm not kidding when I say panning becomes very choppy when PAX are boarding, be they inside a jetway where you cannot see then, or walking up stairs. So really what I was saying was simply: having smooth panning always + BATC /w FSLTL**** + Self Loading Cargo is more important than what GSX Pax loading provides for me. But it's also that I don't care for the animated PAX used. In fact, I dislike GSX marshal such at the arrival gate so always use an MSFS gate w/ its marshals which I much prefer. ****I just discovered a way to rid myself of the substantial perf burden from BATC w/ FSLTL models. I had been searching for methods to fix stuttering AI traffic animation associated for me with BATC's traffic injection and management system. Just nasty no matter what I've tried at least 90% of the time. Sometimes it's not bad but mostly it's nasty. Well today I turned OFF BATC's injector, and instead used FSLTL's. Voila, awesome performance boost such that GSX PAX loading at KDEN was easily tolerated. So that was a killer discovery for me as I've been perplexed by the AI traffic animation in BATC.w IOW, I think this is a moot point for now as I picked up significant headroom using BATC w/ FSLTL's injector. I think it does help eliminate those last remaining niggles in a big terminal, but it's bordering on placebo because it's already rare to have these now for me. But while everything else is done in pre flight, pushback is over and I'm waiting for taxi instructions it's a simple matter to open the drone cam up, and elevate with the R key, then hold down 2 & 6 num keys while elevating, then just hit numkey 5 to get back to the plane and out of drone cam.
